We do not stop innovating! We have evolved our wash brushes with advances in materials to achieve a smoother and more effective contact with the vehicle. We must never forget that a good brush should ensure the quality and effectiveness of the wash while also protecting the vehicle’s chassis. We tell you which are the three types of brushes that we use in our machines and the improvements introduced in this post.
Link Foam brushes
Our foam brushes are made of modified EVA material. Lightweight, quiet and drip-proof, they have a high dirt-carrying capacity and high durability. The new material produces a smoother, quieter wash on the vehicle and contributes to a spectacular shine. A must-have for automatic washes in rollovers and tunnels.
Remember that brushes collect dirt during the scrubbing phase, which can make them less effective and compromise the standard of the wash if they are not cleaned regularly. ISTOBAL esens® Clean & Care Plus Shampoo prevents dirt and the formation of scum on the brushes. Its continuous use, combined with its sanitising power, improves efficiency and extends the durability of the brushes, contributes to better maintenance of the bay and promotes high wash quality.
Link feel polyethylene brushes
Polyethylene brushes are specially designed for washing large vehicles such as vans, trucks, buses and trains. They provide powerful, highly effective scrubbing to remove the most stubborn dirt from heavily soiled commercial vehicles.
Link Dry drying brush
The new EVA Expanso foam has a large number of pores of different sizes, which help to collect any possible drops left in the vehicle after air-drying in ISTOBAL tunnels. This material, together with the high rotational speed of the foam drying brush, makes it possible for the droplets to be sprayed into the environment.
Link Dry achieves a better drying finish than textile brushes: no water absorption from the foam. It is also a more durable material, so it offers more services thanks to the longer lifetime of the foam compared to textiles. That’s why it is ideal for high-production tunnels where the textile material does not have time to dry itself and starts to soak, as it continuously absorbs water from vehicles.
Our new drying brush reduces brush maintenance too. Foam, by not absorbing water, does not create mould and can be cleaned and maintained more easily than textile material, which requires more frequent cleaning.
