ISTOBAL solution
A customized rolling stock wash system designed for one of the largest infrastructure projects worldwide, the Riyadh Metro. In collaboration with Alstom, ISTOBAL developed and installed the HW’Train Through,system, a robust and versatile industrial model capable of washing trains up to 72 meters long in just 10 minutes.
The project integrates pre-wash arches, detergent application, rinsing and final wash, together with HW’Progressrollovers and recycling systems that allow up to 75% of the water used to be reused, bringing sustainability and efficiency to the process.
The installation also stands out for its full connectivity with the Operations Control Center and for the possibility of remote maintenance, ensuring service continuity and maximum performance in one of the most ambitious engineering projects of recent years.
