ISTOBAL presented its latest solutions for the washing of all types of rolling stock at Innotrans 2024 in Berlin (Hall 6.2, stand 750) from 24 to 27 September.
The company has unveiled its latest innovations in sustainable and customised washing systems for the railway industry through flexible, connected and safe equipment that guarantees efficient washing in less time, with minimum maintenance and impact on the environment. They also allow remote management of the washing process and equipment maintenance.
Within its wide range of products for the railway industry, ISTOBAL stands out with the ISTOBAL TRAIN THROUGH system, a washing system that stands out for its speed, efficiency and versatility, as well as guaranteeing exceptional cleaning quality. This system offers the most flexible pass-through washing line on the market, combining robust design with reliable mechanics to ensure efficient washing and a superior user experience.
In addition, it has introduced the ISTOBAL HW'PROGRESS2 RS model, ideal for washing vehicles without catenary. Designed and manufactured to specific rail sector specifications, this equipment is built on a galvanised steel structure with a polyurethane coating that offers additional protection against corrosion. The model is suitable for stationary washing and can be installed in tandem. By installing multiple units, long trains can be washed in stationary mode, achieving high levels of throughput without compromising wash quality.
It also showcased its static equipment for watertightness testing of wagons and locomotives, as well as its complete range of water treatment systems and its full range of high-quality esens chemicals.
