Description of the unit
An independent continuous dosing unit for chlorine-based disinfectant. This unit adds a dose of chlorine to treated water (mains, recycled or demineralised) for a defined amount of incoming water.
The dosage of disinfectant is proportional to the rate of inflow. The concentration of chlorine in the water can be varied by adjusting the metering pump setting.
Location
Install the unit in a place where it is easily accessible, away from direct sunlight, rain, humidity, and extreme temperatures (<0 y >45ºC).
The distance between the unit and the storage tank should not be more than 3 metres. Do not install near acids or vapours to avoid the risk of deflagration and explosion.
