Description

General description

The softener is intended to eliminate water hardness. Water is softened by making it pass through ion exchange resins. The softener consists of two bottles with resins, a programmer (CLACK valve) and a salt tank for resin regeneration.

Location

The location must facilitate access to the unit and the salt tank for refilling purposes. It must be flat and protected from the sun, the rain and extreme temperatures (0 - 45º).

Inlet and outlet connections on the filter are indicated with the corresponding arrows. It shall neither be installed near acids or vapours or exposed to oil-derived products to avoid the risk of deflagration and explosion.
