ISTOBAL solutions
ISTOBAL has developed for DSB a rail wash solution based on HW’TRAIN
THROUGH 4HWTT2 technology, selected for its ability to adapt to all train types within its fleet.
The semi-stationary installation can wash up to eight different train types and integrates rinse and chemical application arches, Stop & Go split brushes with panel brushes for front and rear washing, four vertical brushes with specific functions for roof overhangs and side skirts, as well as high-pressure systems for lower side washing and drying.
Following the contract award in 2022, the solution was implemented across six wash facilities located throughout Denmark, featuring a standardized technical configuration that ensures consistent operation and simplifies maintenance across the entire network.
